WHo is the SIHA?

Patrick Favalo is the Owner of the Inline Hockey Association, LLC and as Chief Operating Officer of the SIHA, he makes all of decisions on the future of the league. Pat is also the head referee and enforces all of the league's policies. His 15+ years organizing inline hockey in CNY has helped shape the league to what it is today.

Colin Massulik maintains the website and does other misceallenous work for the league.

Riki Brundage is our sponsor liason and event coordinator. Riki will be bringing us new sponsors and events to make your experience a better one.

Cyrx Valor, as many of you already know is our play by play guy our for the SIHA Game of the Week. His crude humor and off-color antics really make the show a hit with our players.

What is your mission?
To provide a service to the sporting community of Central New York by offering a safe and convenient place for adults to play organized amateur inline hockey during the summer months.

Where do you play?

We are playing at The Greater Baldwinsville Arena in Lysander.

You can check our location page to see a map and driving directions.

What days do you play?

We play Sunday through Thursday evenings. The games will start promptly at 7:30, 8:30 and 9:30 PM.

How long does the season last?

The regular season is from May through August. Playoffs week is the first week in August. The division finals games will be held the following Sunday.

How many teams, players, games, etc?

Typically, depending on the number of players that sign up, we prefer to have 12 teams. The schedule is designed so that each team plays another team at least once during the season. A team consists of a minimum of 8 skaters and a goalie. Teams are allowed to have up to 15 players including two goaltenders. Each team is guaranteed at least 15 regular season games and 1 playoff game.

Who can play in the league?

This is an adult league. Anyone 17 or over can play regardless of skill level. This is a non-checking league and we encourage all skill levels as well as females to play. To keep the game safe for everyone, we reserve the right to refuse any application for any reason.

How do I get on a Team?

On the registration application, there is a section that asks if you already have a team. If you check “no”, we will put you in contact with a captain that needs players to complete their team.

What kind of surface do you play on?

What kind of wheels should I use?

This is an indoor surface, we recommend that you check out our Wheel Chart.

Can I make my own team?

Yes, all you need to do is fill out the Team Registration form and list all of the players on the Team. To be eligible for the 10% registration discount, your team must consist of 8 skaters and 1 goaltender. If you want to bring your own sponsor and jerseys, the sponsor is required to pay a mandatory $200.00 advertising fee.
