Who can play in the 3-on-3 Endurance Challenge?
All are welcome to participate; but only the first 18-30* players registered will play.
* Depending on the number of goaltenders that sign up, minimum 6, maximum 8.
 
What is this tournament all about?
Once all of the players have registered to play in the tournament, the team's players will be chosen by lottery drawing. There will be three players and one goalie per team. Each team tries to score as many goals against the opposing team’s goalie in one non-stop 18-minute period. No time-outs, no face-offs, just 18 grueling minutes of non-stop scoring action. At the end of each round, the teams with the most goals advances to the next round.
 
Why would one want to play in this tournament?
This tournament is not for those faint of heart. The two teams that play in the championship game in this tournament will have played in EIGHT grueling games in one day!
 
Where is the tournament going to be held?
The tournament will be held at the Greater Baldwinsville Ice Arena. Spectators are encouraged to attend.
 
When is it?
Saturday June 25th. 8:00 AM. DON'T BE LATE, your game will start without you!

Format:

  1. Each player is guaranteed at least three games in the qualifying round.
  2. Games last for 18 Minutes running time. No time outs or breaks. Only the referee may call time out or stop play.
  3. Games will start on the hour, on :20 after the hour, and :40 after the hour.
  4. After a goal is scored, the team that was just scored upon must start by bringing the puck out from behind their net to begin the next play.
  5. The team that just scored must not cross the top of the offensive zone face-off circles, to allow a clean break for the opposing team.
  6. Teams will advance through each round based on the number of total goals scored. Note: teams do not advance on wins or team points.
  7. Each Player must bring a dark and a light colored jersey. The league will not be supplying any jerseys for players.

Rules:
All SIHA rules are in effect.

Registration Information: Current SIHA players need to register and pay at the rink. Registration fee is $10 for all players. Anyone who is not a 2016 SIHA Registered Player must sign the Player Conduct Act and register with USARS.

*The first 24 players and 8 goalies registered will be accepted. However, if 10 goalies are available, the format will be adjusted to accommodate.
